1933 Ford Other Pickups -- Description

Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this 1933 Ford Speedstar. The car was built by Bobby Alloway & Rats Glass cars. This little beauty is as cool as they come! The fiberglass body was purchased from Rats Glass company and was painted PPG 1996 Corvette Blue color with custom blue flames. The paint is in excellent condition and shows very well, the pictures do not do it justice when out in the sunshine. Powering this speedstar is a Chevy ZZ4 350 CID V8 with a custom camshaft by Comp Cams with an approx.. HP rating of 410HP. Performance headers, a Weland intake, Holley high flow carburetor, & custom 3” stainless steel exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers that give this engine what it needs to put out some serious power. The engine is also dressed with plenty of chrome components & accessories. Paired to the V8 is a GM 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a 3000RPM B&M converter stall with Lokar shifter that leads into a custom rear end with 3:90 gears. The chassis sits on Aldan coilovers on all 4 corners that are all polished and really make the car look great. The interior is in superb condition and does show any wear with its tan leather seats and carpet with its custom dash really finish off the look of what a 33 Ford Speedstar would look like in a hot rod magazine. Showing Dakota digitial gauge read outs, custom Budnik steering wheel on the inside as well as the 6 speaker Kenwood sound system with CD player gives you all the amenities of a new car. The wheels are custom one off polished Boyd Coddington 17x7 wrapped in B.F. Goodrich tires. Showing only 3,900 miles on the engine & transmission since they were rebuilt this speedstar is barely broken in yet with plenty of life ahead of it. This car is not just for show as it is a great driving car with firm brakes, solid ride feel, & a beefed up drive train. You could be the lucky person to pick this car up from Gateway and be the most looked at car at your next car meet.
