2000 Ford F-450 XL Description

Availablefor your consideration is a 2000 Ford 4x4 F450 7.3 Diesel Dump Truck with an automatic transmission. This vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic Boss plow set up. It does not come with the blade. I have no snow blade...It is a commercial heavy duty plow setup. This truck came from South Euclid Lyndhurst school district. Thisvehiclehas only 35,559 miles. It is in need of a complete redo. We started work on it but ran out of time to work on it so it has sat. The cab is very rusty. The roof is rusted as well as thefloor and rocker. The truck does need a lot of work but well worth it a 7.3 diesel with low miles will last forever. Once repairs started I considered of just replacing the cab but it could very well be welded up and repaired your choice. The dump bed is in good shape but does have rust and will need the lower side rails repaired. If your capable of doing the work or know someone who could this could be a great truck. Hard to find a low miles 7.3 Diesel truck. The truck has an excellentengine it and starts with ease and it runs clean. The transmission lines leak they are rusted from thetruck just sitting. These lines will need replaced. The truck does run with new batteries which thebuyer will need to purchase. I would recommend this truck to be hauled to therepairs are completed. This is a nice project vehicle that would make a someone an awesome 4x4 Dump truck when done. I wish I had the time for it. I have all the front end parts with exception of the front bumper it was a painted bumper that was dented up pretty bad. The drivers door was replaced and I have the old door for the latch guts and etc to change over. The back window was removed so the body work could be done. Rear dump works with out issue. I purchased this truck from a school district I paid $6890.00 I can show the buyer that invoice I started repairs and just had no time to finish I rather sell the truck than let it sit. Once again this will make a very nice truck when finished. If you have any questions about this project truck please feel free to contact me. Thank you for viewing my truck..... This will be sold NO RESERVE!!! A $99.95 Document and title transfer fee will be added to the final auction price. I am a licensed Ohio dealer. All vehicles sold to Ohio residents must pay sales tax. Hello, today we pulled the truck around front and revaluated the truck. We had taken to decent batteries that we charged and they seem to be holding a charge well. The truck starts right up and burns clean...Great running truck. We went ahead and bolted the grille and headlamp doors back in it. The front end is complete with the exception of the bumper. The passenger side rockerand floor is solid as pictured. We will install the left door latch back in the drivers door before pickup of the truck. This way the door can latch shut. I am trying to get the mechanical shop next to us to take a look at the transmission lines to see if they can also be fixed before the auction ends, once under pressure they leak and spray all over the ground it would be much easier to move and drive truck around. I do not want to guarantee this is more of a like to do and hope they can get to it before the pickup of the vehicle once again...Overall looking at this truck it just has a ton of potential with some time and effort it will be a great truck. The 4x4 is setup with lockouts and floor shift. The truck has a hydraulic setup to added a salter to the back of the truck. Also the plow unit is all intact with the exception of the blade unit itself. Door panels and headliner are out but they all come with the truck they were removed to start repairs. Back window is out and also gonna try to get in before it leaves but no guarantee. The dump is a hydraulic scissor type which is very heavy duty, the pump works great the cable to activate the dump to go up and down is froze we are lubing that cable and hopefully will loosen up so the bed will operate the unit is fully operationable the cable is just froze from sitting..You will find this truck to have a super drivetrain and tons of potential...4x4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
