I will not recognizebidders with no historyon any of my auction listings.
I bought this car out of a 15 car Fordcollection inChicago, Ill. This car was a one owner car. The gentleman that owned these cars bought a new one every two years starting in 1950.
The car ran when we got the car but it smoked so bad we removed the intake and heads. We discovered the valve guides were worn out and the pistons were loose- it needed a complete overhaul.
The car had been well taken care of and was factoryundercoated from the factory. Thereis minor rust under the headlights on both sides. The car has the dealer installed seat coversover original seats.
The stainless steel is in great shape so are theglasstaillight lenses.
We were going to overhaul the motor but too many projects andage has caught up with me. All pieces and parts including heads, intake, radiator, and all nuts bolts and screws are in the trunk.
The complete overhaul gasket set is included.
I personally love the 4-door cars, I got over 2-doors back in the'50's and '60's. There are so many kits to install V8 302 Ford motors or God forbid- V8 Chevy.
