1951 Ford Fordor Custom
Fordomatic Three Speed Automatic (rare). A C4 or C6 Tranny will bolt up to this engine.
Brand new tires just installed, less than 500 miles.
Most major chrome (bumpers, etc.) in great shape. Other smaller parts, outside door handles, hood ornament, need re-chroming. The 'big" stuff is in good condition.
8BA Flathead 100 hp w/ 12v Alternator. The final and updated Flathead made.
New Aluminum Radiator w/ Elec Fan.
Two new high flow water pumps.
New Mallory Electronic Ignition
New Flame Thrower Coil, Plugs, Wires.
New Battery.
Rebuilt EBA Carb.
Oil Pan removed and (engine sludge) cleaned.
All fluids just changed.
New Exhaust
New 17 gal. Gas Tank
Beautiful new Interior from floor to headliner, including Dash . Dome lights work.
Painted in 2003. Have a few small places that could us a touch up. Had a section of rear fender panel re-done and it's a very slight mismatch. I didn't even notice it until a few months later when the sun hit it at a certain angle. Ihave paint PPG left over, and with another quart the entire car could be re-done with very little body work involved. The existing paint is in beautiful condition for 14 years.
Some minor surface rust here and there, with a few chips.
I've just had all of the under hood wiring re-done. Temp and fuel gaugenot working. I've put in a new sending unit when the new tank was installed. Not sure what the problem is.
Heater/Defrost/Wipers/Turn Signals works.
Straight nearly rust free body including undercarriage.
Solid front end, smooth running.
Trim around window vents should/could be replaced. Vent glass on drivers side is "ok" but fogged around the edges. All four doors at vents BTW.
Repaired rock chip in drivers side window.
Previous owner (s) installed new fuel pump, master cyl. rebuilt: transmission serviced, and overhauled engine; Main Bearings and Rings, Rod Bearings, one valve replaced.
This car runs and drives beautifully.
I have all service records.
I don't believe you'll find a better running stock Flathead out there. 100 hp with top speed in mid Eighties. You can run the Interstate all day at 70mph.
Not a trophy class show car, but a great looking excellent running classic.
Upon purchase, I could help deliver the car. . . .. within 500 miles.
I've been on eBay for almost 17 years and have a 100% Favorable Feedback.
