2000 Ford F-150 XL Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Ford F-150 7700 4x4. I would rate the exterior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. It is finished in Toreador Red and Tan two tone over matching Tan cloth interior. As with any older truck, please expect to find normal wear associated with age and mileage. This truck is clearly a little banged up...but nothing terrible considering it's age and mileage. The paint shines well for it's age but there are a few faded spots and such, as you should expect. Although there is no major damage to specifically point out, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully as there is probably not a single piece of sheet metal on this truck without a dent, scrape, scratch or something. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The wheels are specific to the 7700 package and show well for their age. There is even a matching spare in the bed (these wheels are very hard to find, so that's important). The tires show average tread all around. It's also worth noting that the RF tire has a slow leak. Please, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. If you're looking for a cheap, solid truck...this will do you fine. If you're looking to win trophies at your local truck show, this is probably not the truck for you. I would also rate the interior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean for their age. The carpets show a few marks but are acceptable for their age. The seats are clean and comfortable, with obvious wear showing on the outside of the driver's seat cushion. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The switch to the driver's window is temperamental, which is common with these. It just takes the right touch sometimes. The radio is original and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this old truck seems to get around pretty well. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any specific leaks, but this truck does have mileage in excess of 200k miles so it's probably a safe assumption that it has a few leaks. The suspension feels good for an old truck. Steering and braking feel good. She gets around pretty good for her age. You can hear a few rattles and noises...but nothing major. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The worst I can say about this truck is that you can feel a slight shudder when it's hot. I haven't even checked the fluid level...it may just be a little low. I don't get into things that much. I've personally put about 100 miles on this truck and she got me where I needed to go. Other than an airbag light that stays on, there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. Out on the highway, she cruises easily. The 5.4L Triton feels strong and makes plenty of power. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. This F-150 7700 is a fresh local trade and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of March, 2018. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
