1934 Ford pickup street rod. 350 Chevrolet with 3 speed automatic. No leaks.
Headers with glass pacs. Stainless fan, aluminum water pump, Mickey
Thompson valve covers, Aluminum oil pan, chrome alt. dual master cylinder
and other items. Built in the 1980's. Has the imitation sprayed vinyl top.
Fiberglass fenders, all other is Ford steel. I have the original hood sides that
are painted the tangerine. Chopped about 5 inches. 80's style button tuff door
panels and headliner. Vinyl Bucket seats, tilt steering column, heater, seat belts,
turn signals, all the lights work with high and low beams, Quick Silver shifter,
Tach, Stewart Warner gauges in the dash. All gauges, speedometer and odometer
work, AM/FM/CD. New black carpet about a year ago. Bed cover has 34 stitched
in it and tilts or you can take it off in a few minutes to haul the wife's new fridge.
Not exactly sure of the color but kind of a tangerine orange with black
fenders and running boards. Tires are BFGoodrich radial TA's. Fronts
are 205/70 /14 and the rears are 245/60/15 on wire wheels. They were
installed two years ago and have about75 % tread left. Rear end is ford
9 inch with ladder bars. Frame is partially boxed.
Updated about three years ago with a Fat Man independent front
suspension with rack and pinion steering, new aluminum radiator
with a stainless overflow, custom built running boards (super strong) and
new custom tangerine flames on the newly painted front fenders.
It is currently licensed and I drive this truck between 20 and 50 miles
a couple of times a week. It drives straight and stops straight. does not
heat up in traffic in the summer and the heater works great in the cool
weather. Its very dependable. You could probably fly in and drive it home
however I would probably trailer it if its over a thousand miles (you never
Know when something is going to break).
The truck does need some TLC, Cracked passenger side glass, no emergency
brake, upholstery is old and seats are worn, paint is old but looks good. windshield
wiper motor works but wipers do not.
It is really alot of fun and gets a lot of thumbs ups and people taking photos.
the only trouble I have had is with the electric fuel pump that only seems to last
about 4 years with the unleaded gas,
500.00 immediate PayPal payment, balance in cash on pickup.
I did not build the truck originally but have owned it since 2009.As a
disclaimer, odometer shows 27877.0 but is surly not original miles.
