Clean Diesel Here! Minimal Rust for the year. This 2003 F350 is over 14 years old but shows very well for its age. At 242k miles its got plenty of life to live. This truck has the 6.0 motor, first generation. Runs and idles well without overheating, no check engine lights or service lights. It has had the EGR deleted and has a aftermarket exhaust. Down pipe has a small hole/leak that will need addressed. Cold start the truck fires right up with some slight hesitation until it gets warm. It has only had about 2-3k miles put on it over the past 3 to 4 years. The older gentleman that owned it used it on occasion to tow his 5th wheel camper. The 5th wheel bracket is still in place. Once warm the truck romps. The Edge power programmer in place has 5 different modes. From Stock to Extreme and even a fuel saver Tow Mode. No oil pressure issues were noted nor were there any major leaks to be found. On the test drive, the transmission shifted through all gears smoothly and the engine seemed to perform quite well. A bit of a vibration under heavy brake power was noted. Could be from the truck sitting over a period of time. The truck also has an aftermarket intake. The Turbo builds boost nicely and performs as it should. Sounds great under acceleration. The first gen turbos in these trucks are highly sought after for the signature sound. The rear bumper has a bend in it on the drivers side. Drop in bedliner. There are small scuffs dings and dents on the truck due to its age. Please review photos. Paint shows well in most spots. Aftermarket running boards and tow mirrors as well. The truck does not have head studs. A/C blows cold. Heat is hot. Steers and drives very nice. This truck is a nice cheap alternative to a new $60,000 diesel. With some work it could be a really nice truck for someone while they drive it. Due to the age and mileage we are listing it right away to find a quick home for it. This is much nicer than a wholesale diesel!
