1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Description

Up for sale is my 1967 Mustang fastback-PLEASE READ CAREFULLY and look at Pictures -I'm not somebody that just say, here's my car, buy it and give me your money with no real description !—A little on the car history as I know it, From the MARTI Report it was born 11/1/66 as a red fastback, black interior, A-Code 289-4barre, auto trans car sold to Pendleton Motors in S.C. As you can see it was restored with a beautiful Nightmist blue metallic paint with the light and dark blue interior. It was also upgraded to GTA trim without adding the power disc brakes. This is not how it was born but it looks fantastic. Then I know The car had a very high cost ( I was told over 45k )restoration about 2004 with a method of going correct Ford as much as possible. While in Vermont at some point it won best Mustang in show in 2005 in Bennington for the Hemmings show. I will include the trophy. I was told shortly afte, the owner died and it passed to another owner in VT until 7 years ago when it came down to CT. then it mostly sat in a garage with only being driven under 900 miles.I rescued the car from the garage and have driven it another 900 miles last fall. --CAR DETAILS—ENGINE- it hasthe A-code 289-4 barrel, I rebuilt the carb, (could use slight tuning)runs very good and has been a pleasure to drive, new plugs, oil change, I changed to aluminum valve covers because I love the look. (original included )and I sandblasted the exhaust manifolds at the same time to clean it up .does not burn oil at all and is very good for leaks.- TRANS- seems good with no big leaks and shifts as it should with no problems at all. The car has manual brakes AND manual steering.-Rear Axle-the door tag does not match the Marti report (it was changed to match the car as painted) so I don't know what it has for a ratio, I would agree w/Marti report. -SUSPENSION—brakes and steering work fine as they should-.INTERIOR- as you can see it looks great with the folding back seat, great upholstery and carpets, AM radio work, blinker, lights, fog lights are fine. The horn does not work but I have not looked at yet to see why, could be a fuse. Drivers door sill has a few chips but I have stainless covers I will include if you want to cover-PAINT- as you can see it has a great look, nice deep color that always gets compliments with no rust, just very light fine scratches from having been painted 13 years ago, overall very nice!- BODY- the best for last, body is laser straight on the sides, great door fit. There must have been a lot of time spent on the sides of the car to get it so smooth. The center rib in the hood has a slight depression from something stored on it. Just want to say. From a deep search I can only find 2 spots that have been welded, the front panel under the battery has been replaced properly, and a very small patch w/ proper steel panel under the gas pedal that you almost cant tell from below. From the time I have spent on the car I have even found the proper date codes for the floor and frame stampings from 10-1966. The frame rails are just perfect! As well as everything in the rear floor, trunk and frame rails. Quarter panels look to be never touched. Every original spot weld looks correct. Once I looked at this car and saw how right it was for original steel I had to have it!! OVERALL, I just wanted to be as accurate as possible, there is NO WAY you can buy a car to restore and do it to this level at anything close to my reserve, OReven buy another at my price. The car is great and just needs small detail work to bring it back to its level 13 years ago or you can just drive it and have fun !!! the odometer shows 6,875 miles, another car show paper from VT that I have shows 57,522 miles so I am selling it mileage unknown as it was probably turned back when it was painted.--TERMS—I require a 500 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours. Full payment within 4 days by wire transfer or cash on pickup. Bank checks WILL BE HELD 10 work days minimum, Sold with valid CT registration and notarized bill of sale. CT does not do titles for older cars. I have had no problems with this in the past. I can hold for shipping and will help as I can. Any questions please ask.or feel free to text or call 86O-48O - zero512

Hello to everybody asking about the car and asking me to end early.. I really don't care to end earl, I will let the auction run, as its close to my reserve and I have it priced chea, especially compared to people asking 44,999 for a car that's not even restored. ( that's stupid, unless you want to give me the same money ? )I know the money on these run all over the place. but this is the only chance this one may be for sale. I don't need to sell it and my wife told me not to, but I might look for an old Cadillac. If it hits my low reserve Iwill let it run and sell so keep bidding !! if you have any questions please feel free to give me a call... Thank, Paul
