1994 Ford Mustang GT Description
This is a 1994 Mustang GTStock, numbers matching and 99% originalPower locks, windows and cruise, keyless entry-all workingThis car was optioned with the 3.27 rear endOdometer reads 82,2xx (I still drive it)believed to be accurate based on condition of vehicle. /div>
Engine BayFrom what I can tell everything is original on it with the exception of things I have replaced. The original radiator developed a crack at the fill neck so it now has an SVE 3 row aluminum radiator. I also replaced the thermostat at that time with a Failsafe one. I also replaced the original spark plugs (yes originals) and swapped to Ford Racing 9mm wires. I serviced the transmission and put in a new filter. When doing so I swapped to a trans pan that has a drain plug for future servicing ease (original included). Valve cover gaskets were replaced with FelPro reusable gaskets and I replaced the PCV valve and the screen below as they were pretty dirty. Other than that, this car is stock.
BodyVIN tags visible throughout, even the one on the front bumper cover. I cant find any signs of paint or body work other than some touch up paint on some light scuffs. Car has only a few door dings, paint is in good condition for its age with only a little fading, no clear coat peeling. Body seems are not all bent up (see pics). Wheels have a little curb rash, but still roll straight and no sealing issues. Could use a new window tint job.
InteriorBlack/gray cloth sport seats. Power driver side with adjustable lumbar. No rips or tears. Light wear on driver side bolster from getting in and out. Airbag light is on due to the battery going dead (code 12). I have replaced the clock spring as a precaution but have not reset the computer yet. A little wear on the doors, specifically the little plastic pieces you grab to shut the door. Has factory tape deck. Digital screen is out on it and it doesn't pick up any radio stations, just static (just needs a new stereo). Everything else is stock and unmodified and in great condition considering its age.
MechanicallyRuns and drives and stops.A/C is cold, heat is hotIt has a little howl up front when driving, my guess is it needs new hubs and bearings ($50 part). Has very light seepage from around the oil pan, not enough to cause drips or be of much concern to me. I'm sure it is the original gasket.I noticed a light ticking recently, may be a lifter as I don't drive it much. I just want to be upfront so there are no surprises.
If you would like more pictures let me know and I will try to get you some. I have a short video of the engine idling if you want to hear it.
I am the 4th owner. I have the original buyers order receip, first owner (older couple) was wife's daily driver. 2nd owner took car as payment for work done on house of 1st owner. He didn't drive it much, so he gave it to his daughter (in her 30's). She drove it daily but decided she needed an SUV (*all info provided to me by 3rd owner) so that is how I got it.
Ask as many questions as you need in order to feel confident about the vehicle. If you make an offer, it is a binding contract, not an "option to buy if you decide you want too"; so expect me to pursue all necessary actions if you change your mind, claim ignorance, forgot to ask your wife, etc. I have tried to be as upfront as possible. Car is As is where is. You are responsible for pickup, though I will try to help with arrangements. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this at my discretion.
