2008 Ford Expedition XLT Description

Here is a 2008 Ford Expedition E, This truck has 107k miles on it. It was previously owned by the city of Denver Colorado.I believe it was utilized in the police department. It was involved in an accident and I bought it to fix for my wife to drive. She has decided she doesn't want it. So here it is. I don't have the time to finish it, so I am passing it on to a new owner. The big issue is that it needs a drivers side quarter panel.Other then that big issue, the truck needs some other small things. I will try to list all the things I have done and know it still needs. First of all, the truck runs, drives and stops. It starts right up and there are no problems with the drivetrain! Many of these trucks have over 300k on them, so I wouldn't be worried about the power plant in this thing!

Starting at the front, It looks like when it was hit in the rear, it pushed the truck into some other vehicle and damaged in the front. I replaced the front bumper, but it will need a headlight on the drivers side and it will need a fender. I have a brand new fender for it. Both drivers side wheels have damage, both are repairable, and that was my plan. Rough estimate on front damage, Headlight $75, Wheel repair $150.

Rear Damage. Rear pass door, needs probably 2 hours of work. Minor damage.Rear quarter replacement, rear floor has some damage from impact, probably about 2-3 hours on a frame bench to pull the minor damage. I believe the City had some sort of storage box in the back that shifted in the accident, so the floor under the 3rd row needs some minor repair. Rear hatch had damage, but I replaced it, rear bumper is damaged but I have a replacement. I have taillights for it as well. Interior needs some minor trim work. Rough Estimate for rear repair. Door damage $150, quarter panel replacement $1000 (I have this located but it has not been purchased) Rear floor repair and pulling of body $750.

If you have the ability to do some of the work, you could save a ton of money. But the numbers are there for this truck. Look up comparable Expeditions on Ebay or Craigslist. None under 10k Plus this truck has low mileage comparably. Please feel free to ask any questions! Thanks
