1967 Ford F-250 Base Description
Original "Colorado" F-250 4X4 Factory Highboy. Purchased new in Boulder, CO., lived in Georgetown, CO., and revived In Cedaredge, CO., on the Western Slope of Colorado. I have all the original mouse chewed paperwork to verify this is a real Colorado Truck. Great truck, new 390 engine with less than 400 miles on rebuild. This is a 428 block (70 model no # 428 block) with a 390 G.T. (2UT) crank, G.T. rods, bored .60 over, Melling high volume oil pump, rear sump pan. Melling heavy duty oil drive rod, Lunati Cam (1200 to 6500 RPM), double roller timing chain, new professionally built D2TE cylinder heads with hardened guides and valves, new water pump, MSD electronic ignition, Holley 650 Vac. Secondary's, Holley fuel pump, HRP head stud kit, ATI Super Damper, Headman headers, new dual exhaust, and more. The engine is very strong and built right. All under hood wiring, frame from bumper to bumper is completely re- worked. Gears are original factory 4.56 ratio.
Truck will amaze anyone who hears it or feels the rumble of this awesome combination. Perfect old school back country Ford Highboy.
