1996 Ford F-350 XLT Description

Legendary 7.3L International Turbo Diesel - 1996 F-350 XLT.
I am the 2nd owner. The 1st owner (neighbor) had it for 10 years / 49K miles. I've had it 11 years. It has 117,200 original miles. This truck has been well maintained and has never been "Worked".
If you're a serious 7.3 diesel person, then you know what you're looking at here!
Reason for selling: I hardly use the truck and need a larger cab for the family.

Standard Cab / Bench seat with armrest
8' Bed - LinEx Spray in Bed liner
Transmission rebuilt at 100,000 miles. Billet torque converter, HD trans and large oil cooler.
Tires have 9,000 miles. Hankook 285/75/16. Largest tire that can fit on a stock truck.
A/C blows cold / heat works great.
Comes with 8' Western Pro Plow Unimount. Truck never pushed more than a 1/2 blade of snow at a time. The last 6 years, it's been used to do my driveway and a few neighbors. It was never a F/T plow truck.
Truck paint and underneath was hosed down after every plowing to get salt off. Plow works great.
Pioneer Stereo - new January 2015. Blue tooth / Aux port / USB port / MP3 / Remote Control. I have original.
Heavy duty greasable universals on rear drive shaft.
Front end has 8 greasable fittings.
Dual Fuel Tanks - 17 and 18 gallon = 35 gallons diesel.
K&N air filter. Truck gets 17/21 mpg.
Timbrens all the way around.
Tinted rear window with manual slide.
New class V hitch professionally installed Oct. 2016.
Plug in block heater for cold days. Replaced heater rod and cord Nov. 2014
New in Jan. 2016: brake lines, fuel lines, valve cover gaskets, glow plugs, glow plug relay.
New Alternator, serpentine belt and 2 Batteries Dec. 2014
Need to know:
- Passenger interior dashboard molding cracked. I have a new piece, needs to be installed.
- Rust is starting to show on rear wheel wells. See pictures.
- Paint bubbling on driver and passenger front quarter panel. See pictures.
- Driver & Passenger rocker panels have the beginnings of surface rust - see pictures.
- Bed Box and strobe light in pictures are not included with sale.
- Speedometer hops around a little. I have not tried to figure out why. It does not affect the truck.
- Headliner sags on humid, rainy days. See picture
- Horn burnt out. Fuse and relays are good. I have a new horn and will do my best to install before you buy.
