1967 Ford Mustang Fastback
1967 Ford Mustang Description
**PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY** RELISTING because the last deadbeat didn't pay. Please don't bid if you can't read or don't have money. Youre bidding on a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback project. It was converted from a coupe to fastback in 2008. I call it a project because the front clip (from the firewall forward) is not from a Mustang. Car enthusiasts with more know-how than me might be able to figure it out what vehicle its from but neither me nor my mechanic friends have ever known. We assume its from a ford in the same time era because it fits snug to the body. The funny thing is that this car drives as straight as an arrow. Nevertheless, Ive been driving her for 8 years now. It has a 351c 2V, Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, C6 tranny and a 8 inch rear (open). It has brand new bumper to bumper wiring from Mustang of Chicago, Bensonville. The engine was rebuilt to stock a year ago. I did notice some light blue smoke last week for about 5 minutes however. Im guessing a ring hasnt sat yet. The interior leather is all new. That inludes the dash, headliner and backseat. Modern Torque thrust wheels. Aluminum 3 core radiator. Pro comp ignition system. I have a ton of receipts as well. Basically I just kept putting money in it over the years because it was a fun project car that I was ultimately going to modernize the front end but just never got around to it. The car is black, its just covered in a gray plasti dip. The dip was only intended to last for a year but that was 4 years ago so it has faded and is peeling. Ive drove this car every summer. Around the city and Ive drove it to central Illinois probably 4 times. I have no idea if the guage clusters work because ive never used them. I added new oil and temp guages. It definitely needs work, but thats what a project is. The reserve is pretty low because she's obviously a bit of a frankenstein, but the parts alone are worth a ton, as you mustang fans know. Also comes with a new B&M shifter that I never got to install. I tried putting in youtube links but ebay wont let me so go to youtube and search "mustang fb proj". This vehicle is sold as is. $500 non refundable deposit required within 24 hours via PayPal . Buyer responsiblefor vehicle pick-up or shipping.
