I bought this car as a 100% stock 2 owner vehicle 3 months ago. I had been looking for a low mile 1 or 2 owner Notchback for over a year now. When I came across this ultra clean, rust free, low mile (68K) 2 owner 1992 Mustang LX 5.0 Summer Special Convertible I couldn't pass it up. Let me start by saying this car really needed nothing when I first bought it. It started up and ran flawlessly and everything worked. It was very evident that the 2 previous owners babied it. But I can never leave anything alone. Since then I have done the following.

Along with a few other small things to get this car perfect. This is probably one of the cleanest and nicest Fox body convertibles I have ever seen. The undercarriage is excellent and has no rust. The torque boxes are perfect. The interior is perfect. What I believe to be the original Performance Red paint is still in great shape with very little fading and has no rust. There is one small ding on the drivers side behind the rear wheel.
The car will come with the original and rare stock pearl white Pony wheels that also have fairly new (under 1K miles) 215/60 16's on them. Stock distributor and Smog Pump included as well. I have the original window sticker and registration from both previous owners as well.
So why am I selling this beautiful convertible now that I have it looking, sounding and performing exactly as I wanted it to?
Well, that "Perfect", flawless, 1 owner Black Notchback LX 5.0, that I had searched for and could never find before I bought this LX 5.0 Convertible... I found it, and I can't keep both as much as I would love too. Bid with confidence. You won't be disappointed! I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, any distance. I have driven this car daily weather permitting for the last couple of months and have probably put 1500-2000 miles on it. Fly in and enjoy the drive home. With the 3.73 gears the car tachs about 2,400 @ 75 MPH in OD.
