Offered for sale is a 1964 Ford Country Sedan 6 passenger wagon. Finished in burgundy with original tan/beige/gold tone interior. This wagon has been very well cared for its entire life and has been a very enjoyable piece to own; a true head turner and car of continued compliments.

This car lived most of its life in Texas and underwent a repaint (one) by the prior owner some years ago.The paint is in nice overall condition, presentable but not a showa $10,000show paintjob.

The interior is in absolutely remarkable condition given the age of the vehicle andoffersthe cars original seat material that is in exceptional condition having been covered with the ORIGINAL old style protective plastic most of its life. The original plastic covers are often the highlight of the interior conversations as many recall their parents or grandparents having covered their seats in the era popular plastic seat covers.

Easy to drive, the manual steering is both a pleasure to drive and easy to handle. The car goes down the road with two fingers on the steering wheel and drives better than most Cadillac's of its' day.

Complete with factory AC (shipped with the car to the dealer and dealer installed) the car has plenty of power with the AC on with its' reworked 289 HP 2bbl V8 that is set up to run on unleaded gas. The car also has its' original AM radio. In addition to the very rare original factory roof rack, the AC was among the rare options with the 289 set-up.

The mileage/odometer shows just over 121,000 on the vehicle with confirming title. Thetransmission and rear end have been completely rebuilt. The rear gears were changed from factory 350's to 300's (Talladega or country gears as we call them) for better fuel economy making it an easier travel on the interstate.

The body is solid all around. Pictures do not do this car justice in any way.

This is an absolutely beautiful car that will surely be appreciated by the true wagon enthusiast or those seeking a very nice piece to drive and enjoy.

* This is not a perfect vehicle. It hasflaws like any other53 year old vehicle that has been driven.If it were being sold by a high end dealer the car would be listed at $40K plus and no doubt they would hold close to their price. The car is a beautiful driver or can easily restored its original showroom condition with far less work than any other 64 Country Sedan available on the market. The mileage on the motor is unknown given it has been reworked, although believed to be original, yetunconformable hence the "0" miles quoted in the listing for that reason.
