2003 Ford Explorer XLS Description

Excellent condition except for a light ticking that sounds like a sticky lifter and there is a slight miss with "check engine" light on. Sound does vary with temperature. Solid drive train with fully functional 4WD. Ford Dealership maintained and garage kept at least in last 5 years. Valid inspection. Decent tires and all hold air. All clear head and tail lights. Virtually no rust. I was getting ready to begin the ticking diagnostics but just don't have the time to invest right now. Included is a timing chain and gear kit that I got because of an early misdiagnosis. Again... other than the ticking issue, I would consider the vehicle in excellent condition for the age and mileage. No 3rd row seating but I understand it's virtually plug and play to add one from a salvage yard. There is NO warranty implied or otherwise offered and I have no problem allowing any mechanical inspection or testing prior to finalizing the sale. I welcome any questions.
