2006 Ford Mustang Description

Up for sale is my 2006 Saleen Convertible build# 1159. I was told when I bought it that it was one of 80 convertibles and one of only 8 black on black convertibles made in its model year. It is non-extreme so it's not supercharged. I've never had to do any major maintenance to it. It runs and drives like I believe a Saleen should. Has the patented Saleen notes in the exhaust, and is a joy to drive. She's a garage queen that has never been driven in the rain or unfavorable weather. If its not nice enough to drive a convertible with the top down the rule for me is that it doesn't come out of the garage.

I'm the only driver and have never allowed anyone else to drive it. She is 11 years old so there are some cosmetic items that need to be addressed like the Saleen lettering on the windshield, the Saleen, and 281 badges on the exterior of the car, the lighter doesn't work, there is a dent behind the drivers door, some rock chips, etc. I have an estimate from a reputable shop that can replace all of the badging, decals, fix the lighter, pull the dent, and paint the front bumper and hood to repair the rock chips for $1,800.00 as of Friday.If I don't sell it that's what i'll be doing with it.

I would entertain a trade up or down if it made sense. What I'm most interested in at the moment is a hardtop convertible i.e. Mercedes SL-Class (Preference). I never take the Saleen out in inclement weather so in Ohio that doesn't give me the amount of driving opportunity that I had in Texas when I purchased it. It's too rare and special to me to take out in the rain etc, and i'm looking for more of a daily driving convertible that I can still drive in the rain without feeling like I'm being disrespectful to the care god's lol.

I've got a spare full-sized matching Saleen rim without a tire on it, and some extras that i'll throw in. There is a 12 inch kicker subwoofer and small amp in the trunk to compliment the aftermarket touch-screen detachable face head unit, and the door speakers have also been upgraded. Fully synthetic oil is all that myself and I know for a fact that the previous owner have exclusively run in it as well as premium fuel.
