PROS:
All the specs and details above.New fuel pump assembly & fuel filter.Apparently it came with a one-piece aluminum driveshaft. Nice.I've had it in dry clean storage since I bought it, so (with the fuel pump etc added, mind you) that's 2 years of wear & tear that didn't happen.I'm the 3rd owner. Previous owner was elderly and took care of it, and it's only gone from Hope, IN (small town south of Shelbyville) to ACRA Automotive Group (large, reputable used car dealer in Shelbyville, IN) to a couple in Waldron, IN (small town east of Shelbyville), then to me and my storage locker in Shelbyville. Because I haven't used it I haven't plated it, but sales tax has been paid(with a late fee)recently.Engine is in excellent condition.I've given it a wax job with carnauba Turtle Wax.
CONS:
As stated in the condition description, the previous owner backed into his garage (if I recall his daughter's story correctly) so there are patches of putty on the top rear of the camper shell (aka truck cap) on the left and right upper corners (see picture). The window frame was also slightly awry but it's been shimmed on the inside so the window opens and locks just fine (the air struts also work like new). A body shop and/or some DIY work could put those defects into near-new condition. The paint is the stock paint for the Ranger.Varying degrees of rust on some of the underside parts (not on the body though!), but it's surprisingly clean under there.Very slight seep from the oil pan gasket. Does not drip.Slight seep from the differential pinion ("front") seal. There were just a few drops from it during the two years in storage. It probably should be replaced sooner or later. The part itself is under $10, and it's a fairly simple DIY if you know what you're doing and have the right tools. Or, according to the shop that put in the fuel pump, no more than an hour labor.
That's it! If I'd had the time I would have detailed it 100% but I think I've done at least 95% detailing. I'll throw in a nearly full bottle of trim and interior restorer to get you started.
