There’s quite a bit that can be said about this unique Muscle car!

However, I will try my best to be brief in regards of its description, condition and history.

This vintage Ford hails from the south.

It was actually delivered to Roundtree Ford in Louisiana during the spring of 1969.

The original owner used it sparingly thanks in part to his job as a U.S. mail carrier. Most of his days unfortunately were spent in the company truck. His wife actually seems to have gotten more use out of the car than he did.

Sometime later (approximately summer of 1988) it was put up for sale and subsequently taken to a new home in Shreveport, LA.

The second owner was a long time service man. He drove it almost daily to the Air Force Base in Bossier Parish. After things slowed down for him a full blown restoration was started that wouldn’t reach its climax until 2015.

The exterior was the first line item to be attended to. He talked extensively about how time consuming the process was. The Mustang was taken down to bare metal to ensure quality. The panels were contoured as needed and properly prepped for paint (accident free vehicle).

Once each body panel passed the authoritative litmus test for correct continuity several coats of (PX8 2013 Dodge Viper Black) was applied!

Thanks to countless man hours of labor it doesn’t take a millisecond to appreciate the cars overall appearance!

The body is straight and free from a litany of amateur defects. The base clear method was utilized to cover the exterior so it is smooth to the touch!

The Raven Black paint almost looks wet in direct sunlight (must be seen to truly be appreciated)!

Compliments are at every corner along with people taking nonstop pictures with their camera phones (EVERYONE LOVES IT)!

At any rate ….. before it was sanctioned to be released all of the chrome, stainless & bright work was replaced or refurbished.

This includes a new front and rear N.O.S. bumper. The grill moldings were replaced as well (looks incredible / great fit)!

The fender script was replaced along with all of the other corresponding emblems.

A new 1969 Ford antenna was set in place along with a new license plate bracket.

All of the marker light bezels were replaced and a new embossed running pony gas cap was fitted to the concave tail panel.

Subtle attributes have been incorporated that scream RESTOMOD!!!

One of my personal favorites are the aggressive Tony Branda sanctioned Shelby side scoops!

These nostalgic scoops really wake up the exterior and help present the perfect picture!

An amazing set of reflective Satin Silver GT style racing stripes hug the rocker panels (excellent contrast)!

An iconic hood scoop can be easily identified up front with 351 badges warning Chevy fans that she’s race ready!

A spank brand new running grill pony christens the nose and displays Mustang pride!

At the end of the day what you have here is a SUPER FUN investment grade pony car that’s ready for summer! It is an amazing conversation piece at the local cruise inns!

You can’t take it out of the garage without making new friends & receiving various compliments!

Now that we have talked about this vintage Mustangs exterior lets discuss what she has to offer inside!

As if the black and chrome theme wasn’t played out enough outside ……. the interior paints just as much of a DARK picture!

Upon opening the door you will find a menacing set of starling black bucket seats up front (excellent condition)!

Located directly in back is a near perfect rear bench (looks sharp)!

This Ford came equipped with optional shoulder belts that can be found hanging from the roofline in back!

The upholstery itself was replaced a short time ago (no damage, rips, etc)! Additional padding, foam was incorporated as needed “better lumbar support”!

Stark black loop pile carpet was laid when the upholstery was replaced “it still looks new”!

To help protect it and add yet more contrast a set of FLAME RED embossed pony floor mats are resting on top!

An original Ford steering wheel is firmly fixed in place. The dash pad has been capped to help shield it from sun fading. All of the gauges are functioning properly and the glove box shuts as it should.

Looking left to right you will find new quality black door panels with nice attaching hardware IE: door handles, window cranks, weather strip, etc.

The packing tray has been carpeted (nice addition) and the quarter trim is in excellent shape!

The dome light illuminates when the doors are ajar and the dash lights jump into action with just a twist of the switch.

All of the glass along with the front and rear windshield are in pristine condition “damage free”!

The trunk is being protected by the aid a nice N.O.S. mat! Again the interior is very respectable & perfectly suited to the exterior.

Now that I have given several reasons why you should love this Ford…… Let’s talk about what makes this baby a true pony car!

No Mustang can truly be considered a free running stallion without having a factory V/8!

This vintage Ford was fortunate enough to leave the assembly line with the optional 351 power plant (88,000 miles)!

That being said “what she has grown to be since it left Dearborn is even more impressive”!

The engine block received a makeover that changed Horse Power & Torque ratings substantially!

The motor tucked under the hood is incredibly strong, stout and ready to run full throttle at the given command!

Many internal components were upgraded to ensure it was powerful and yet reliable.

These include but are not limited to a forged racing crank, Crane Comp Cam, Billet steel sprockets, Clevite performance rod bearings, Hypereutectic pistons along with a high volume oil pump!

You can expect sheer enjoyment every time the accelerator is mashed!

The car is very user friendly! Taking the wife out for a Sunday cruise will be a blast.

If you have the privilege of taking it to a local car show there won’t be a problem holding your head high upon opening the hood. This 69 has been treated to a shiny array of Spectre braided stainless performance hoses!

Preventative maintenance has been addressed thoroughly. Premium Plugs, performance wires, belts, battery, starter, shocks, fuel pump & entirely too much more has been recently replaced!

Keeping things cool under the hood was a big priority. A better flowing radiator has been added along with a high temp thermostat!

Nothing like driving with complete confidence!

To make sure all of the bases were covered a new power steering pressure hose was just installed along with the return hose.

No shorts were taken so the power steering slave cylinder was also replaced for good measure!

She simply LOVES the open road!
