2003 Ford Excursion Custom 7.3 Limited 2-tone Chrome Package Description

New pictures added
I am the second owner of this Ford Excursion, I've had it since 02/02/2005. We purchased from LENZ trucks used when it only had 29,000 miles on it.
(First owner had it as a lease vehicle)
Yes we've put on over 230,000 relatively trouble free miles in 12 years. We're keeping it until after our family trip to Florida at the end of the week. Once we return on the 24th it will be available to see in person and purchase.
We are back from our family vacation to Florida. We put on another 2400 trouble free miles.
The one issue we had was a big rock hit the windshield so that was replaced this week.
As many of you know looking at this vehicle, there's nothing else out there to replace it! That's why I've hung onto it for so long.
Nothing else on the road can seat 7-8 people, pull over 10,000# and get 16-20 MPG doing it - NOTHING!
This Ford is actually an early 2003 with the 7.3L diesel but with a 2005 Ford Chrome Package kit installed.
It was done right use all genuine factory Ford parts.
The 2-tone color is also Ford factory paint, it's the same as our 2012 F-250 which is shown in one of the pictures.
I put a front end leveling kit on it with Ford factory F-250 rear springs to even it out.
As you can see it also has late model F-250 / F-350 OEM Ford Platinum 20" wheels.
New Cooper Discoverer A/T3 LT275/65R20 put on within the last 3 months.
Things you can't see are:
Bully Dog programmer
Ford AIS Powercore Heavy Duty air cleaner
Banks Exhaust all the way back.
^^^ The above were all installed for better fuel mileage, not for extra performance.
Quad / Captains chairs for walk through second row seating
3rd row seating
Limited all Leather Trim Package
Keyless Entry Keypad on Drivers door for unlocking door locks
Multi-Function steering wheel controls - Not many 2003 out there with this option AND the 7.3L
Rear DVD-Entertainment Package
Rear / Dual Climate Controls Heat & AC
8-way Power - Heated Leather Front Seats with memory & adj. Lumbar Support
Towing Package
Auto dusk sensing headlights
Extendable - Heated Tow Mirrors with Turn Signals (Ford Chrome package)
Retained Accessory Power (very nice feature for charging devices!)
3.73 limited slip rear differential
Lighted running boards
Fog Lights
Rear Wiper / Defrost
Adjustable Foot Pedals
New injectors and injector sleeves done by Huckstorf Diesel
New ball-bearing Turbo last year (Also done at Huckstorf Diesel)
New starter last fall
Like I say, anytime something needed to be fixed we fixed it - simple as that. This is my company vehicle and my personal daily driver.
I have ALL of the service & repair records available and can tell you anything you want to know about it, including the fact that I don't really want to sell her, at least not quite yet. I still need to get the whole family all down to Florida next week. :-)
^^ We are back now and she made it to Florida and back without ANY issues.
Set cruise control at 80mph and go all the way, never a single hiccup :)
This is a really nice truck that will make some other family very happy for years to come!
