1942 Ford Other Pickups Description

1942 Cab on a 1989 dually Chevrolet frame. This Rat is titled as a 1942 Ford truck. New rebuilt 454 BBC Edelbrock heads, big cam, strong and very responsive engine, 700R4 transmission, 3" copper pipe for exhaust stacks, beer Kegs welded together for side fuel tanks no gas gauge,check the tanks with a 5 gallon paint stick, I would have to guess the Kegs hold a lot of gas but never filled them both up at the same time. air bags front and semi air bags in the rear to hold up hauling a car, air tank and two compressors, train horns, new auto wire wire harness, 22.5 Peterbuilt wheels machines down to 22" powder coated black, with pneumaticbalencers, low profile Heavy Load tires, all tires are in real good shape except one rear tire has limited tread. New aluminum radiator, all seals and bearings changed in the suspension and rear end, chop top, flip front, Nasty Rat Truck!! Get way to much attention and it's not even finished. Every time I stoppedfor gas it was at least 45 min before I could leave the station. People would crowd around talking and taking pics. I bought this from a shop in Baton Rouge Louisiana and had plans on finishing it to haul my 1930 Hot Rod around. Change of plans and to many project for one man to do. This truck is titled in Louisiana and is driven on the street all lights and blinkers work. Please check your local laws to make sure it is OK to drive in your state.
