Intake manifold gasket needs to be replaced.
Tints are old and crappy.
I've owned this car for the past 30,000+ miles and drove it over 700 miles a week from August-December last year before the transmission went. I loved driving it and if I had time to do the work myself, I would keep it as a second car. I'm hoping that someone has a transmission lying around or wants to go to the junkyard to get a low mileage transmission for$300and will drive this car around for another 100,000 miles.
I was driving home one day when the car felt like it slipped into neutral after 2nd. I slowed down and it kicked back into 2nd and drove fine for a few seconds. Once it tried to shift to 3rd, it slipped again. The engine still runs fine and it still moves but won't go above roughly 20-30 miles an hour.
I've heard all different types of things from it could be a torque converter, burnt out 3rd and 4th or even an accumulator spring or flux capacitor or something else small. I've looked online and called some shops but don't have time or patience to deal with it anymore.
