This 1949 Ford Club Coupe has NO rust through ANYWHERE in the Body except a little in the Passenger floorboard area where it had leaked inside over13 some years ago before I bought it in Nebraska. Last known owners were in Nebraska and Kansas.
This car is almost 100 percent complete of Body, Interior, and Drivetrain parts. Drivetrain has the Flathead V/8 with 3spd Transmission. All Stainless trim around windows, doors, lights, etc., is all there and mostly excellent condition.
Optional Factory or dealer installed items are Bumper Guards, Windshield Washer, and Backup Light and Clock.
The body is very, very straight, with only a small little dent on top of drivers fender. I have an additional Hood to replace the original that has a small crease.. I have a replacement Re-chromed Grill part to replace the dentedbar on passenger side of Grille.
Yes the Interior needs to be redone, however all the Hardware and trim is all there, including the very shiny Door, Window handles and the beautiful round chrome dash knobs with excellent gauge cluster and clock in the dash.
The Motor was free about 6 years ago when I put a Battery in the car and used the key and starter button to turn over the motor, but since then stored in a barn it froze up again, so I am in the process of freeing up again.
This Car because of being so Complete, so Straight, and so Rust Free, would be an ideal car to restore, which I was going to do, but I have too many projects...
