2001 Ford F-250 XLT Description

We have a 2001 F250 Super Duty powered by the 7.3 liter diesel motor with automatic transmission. This is a 1 owner vehicle that I bought new in 2001 for my wife to use as a commuter vehicle. This truck has never towed anything or been used as a work truck. Power train is in great shape with the engine starting in the coldest weather. Still has many good years of service.

I will list specific information on condition to the best of my ability.

Body is fair with typical rust. Especially on the bed. Both the wheel wells and the underside supports are shot. Tailgate is not rusted but is bent. Tailgate still works as is. Both front and rear bumpers are new within the last 3 years. The rest of the body has rust in the cab corners and on the bottom of the doors. 1 rear door has a lower patch panel as shown. The grill is broken in one spot.

Interior is decent but could use a cleaning. Upholstery is good with no rips or tears. Everything works including the AC and heater. CD player and radio work as well.

Mechanically, it works great. Automatic 4 wheel drive engages as it should. The hubs are new last year. Burns no oil and always starts. Oils changed every 5000 miles. We always used Shell Rotella. Tires have about10K miles on them.

This truck has a current inspection that expires in August. It will need the bed replaced or repaired to pass again. I have a new take off bed I bought for this but never got to install. I will offer it to the high bidder for a separate price. The new bed is not included in this auction.

Overall this is a solid truck that with a little work can run for many more years. This can be test driven if desired. Contact me to set up a time.
