Up for purchase is a 2010 Roush 427R Mustang with 1,600 miles. You read that right, 1,600 miles. The engine is a supercharged 4.6L V8 producing 435 horsepower and 400 lb/ft torque. The paint is a sought after Kona blue metallic. There were only 32 of these 427R’s in this color produced in 2010. For those who aren’t familiar with the 427R, it is a fully loaded premium level Ford Mustang GT that is purchased from a Ford dealer and sent to Roush Performance Industries to be modified with handling, horsepower and appearance upgrades. The vehicle is then shipped to a dealer for delivery. I can go on and on about the history of Roush but that’s not why you are here.

I am the second owner of this vehicle since August 2011 and have treated it as I do all of my special vehicles. It is garage kept and never driven in any rain or snow. I may have used it a total of 10 times since I have owned it. By now I hope you have viewed the photos. You may have seen the few I took of a scratch and small dent in the driver’s side front fender. Story behind that is the original owners elderly father wanted to water some plants and accidentally scratched the fender with a garden hose sprayer. Definitely an easy fix but I left it, considered it the inevitable first scratch. The tires are like new but have some minor flat spots from sitting. A good 50 mile drive will fix that.

There are two serial numbers in the photos, let me explain those. There is one in the engine bay that reads 10-0003. This indicates the vehicle was the 3rd 427R produced by Roush Performance in 2010. The other serial number that is located on the passenger side door jamb is the production serial number; this one reads 10-0011. This translates to the vehicle being the 11th vehicle in 2010 to be modified by Roush industries.
