Description

Years ago I had the idea of creating a Inspired Sportsman, I wanted to create a car that had the rigid ride of a Metal car and more importantly the "quietness" of a metal bodied car, and the Gorgeous Wood that embodied the Sportsman. I acquired the best 1947 Ford Convertible Super Deluxe I could find (remarkable History). After studying all types of Woods, Oak was chosen for it's Beauty and Strength and Mahogany Sapele was used on the inner panels for its Beautiful Grains. Once the exterior Wood work was completed, attention turned to the interior in Southern California the best Upholstery man is known as the "BlindStitch" to many in the Concourse World. Upon meeting "the Blind Stitch" installed a Custom Convertible Top and Luxurious Hand Picked Matching Leather Hides (French Seam) three full hides were utilized in the building of this Beauty. The kick panels the arm rests all being wrapped with beautiful Chocolate Brown ultra buttery Soft Leather, the details don't stop at the interior but also the trunk was completely detailed and new Firestone White Walls were installed (Including Spare in trunk). Special attention to detail has been undertaken with the build, keeping with the Spirit of the Post War Era the car is Original including the 6 volt electrical system which is flawless gauges and lights operate safely and soundly. Please note all the specialnuisancesof this Ford the Dash for instance was completed by the Worlds best and is flawless and Beautiful, the Bright Work is Gorgeous also to be expected the Windows and frames are all in New Condition.
