2011 Ford Crown Victoria LX Description
I am selling my 2011 Crown Victoria LX only because I just bought a second Crown Vic. This is what I get for looking at cars on ebay when I shouldn't be. But it was a rare opportunity on an unusual car that I simply couldn't pass up -- a 2004 Crown Vic Police Interceptor in mint condition, with 2,900 original miles. That is, not 29,000 miles but 2,900.
But I don't need two of these cars, so I have to let this one go. I wasn't looking to replace this car because of any problems with it. In fact, it is in perfect working order and I expect it will go at least another 100,000 miles easily, if not another 200,000. These cars are built to last, with thousands having served in police, taxi, chauffeur and rental fleets. This car is clean inside and out, with no rust.
The 2011 is the culmination of the Crown Victoria model run and this one is fully loaded with options like automatic climate control, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, anti-lock brakes, traction control, and a combination digital/analog dash with multi-function readout. The air conditioning works as it should and cools the car easily, even here in Alabama. The tires are BF Goodrich Advantage T/A's and are still nearly new, with only about 2,000 miles on them.
I was planning on keeping this car, so I had bought a BaseCARE extended service plan through Ford which is good through April 2020 or 92,529 miles, whichever comes first. It's a fully transferrable service plan. It also offers pretty extensive coverage -- please refer to the picture I included of the brochure.
The buyer is welcome to take the car to a service facility of their choosing for a pre-purchase inspection prior to completing the transaction, if so desired. Also, the car just had its 60,000 mile service completed at McClary Ford in Athens, AL last week. It needs nothing and is ready to go.
This is a straight auction; high bidder wins provided reserve is met. I would prefer not to disclose the reserve, but I will say it is thousands less than I paid for the car in April, although I did buy it from a Ford dealer, so I paid retail.
Finally, I have the title in hand, in my name. Thanks for looking and best of luck bidding.
On Jun-12-17 at 18:12:29 PDT, seller added the following information:I also have some extras to be included -- please refer to the pictures. There is a factory service manual and factory wiring diagrams manual, both in mint condition.
I also have all parts necessary to convert the car to dual exhaust, except for the mufflers. All of the parts pictured, except for the tailpipe, are Ford OEM parts. The H-pipe is all-stainless steel construction; this is an expensive item to buy new. I got it from Tasca Ford via eBay. The hangers, isolators and even the screws for attaching the hangers, I ordered through my local dealership. But I no longer need these parts since buying the new car (the police cars were all factory dual exhaust). So I'll throw them in with the sale.
