1965 Ford Mustang Description
1965 rebuilt Ford Mustang Coupe: frame off restoration, body was sandblasted with only 2 spots needing to be replaced due to rust: Rear floor pan and both lower rear fenders. After being sandblasted, it had PPG omni epoxy primer applied and PPG omni catalyst all done by North Texas Rod shop. Has brand new paint job, amateur quality. Custom fiberglass rear end scoop, has a 4" hood scoop as well.
Interior:All new interior, carpet, headliner, custom seatbelts. All new custom auto gauges Phantom. All new interior lights and electronic trunk lid.
Motor:408 Stroker blueprint; B&M flex plate 164. Ford racing water pump. Holly mechanical fuel pump. Hooker headers. Hughes torque converter 2500 stall. Flowmaster exhaust. Miloden 6 quart rear sump, custom oil pan
Transmission/Rear end:original C4 transmission, automatic that has been rebuilt. Original driveshaft, new U joints. Brand new 9" Ford rear end 370 gears, 31 spline. Ford trac lock posi. New axles, new bearings and new wheel studs with Timken US bearings
Suspension:New disc brakes all the way around. Brand new wheels and tires 225:50ZR17 front 255:40ZR18 rear. Bought brand new at Discount Tire. Air shocks in the rear, new shocks in the front. Heidts Mustang II custom front end kit (Rach/pinion manual steering), also done by North Texas Rod shop. Has subframe connectors
