Mr.Gonzales purchased this 1968 Ford Mustang California Special for his wife new on March 5th 0f 1968
Purchased at Glen Organ Ford in Compton, California (Los Angeles). Factory Candyapple Red with Black Standard interior.
Original 289 -2V V8 Automatic transmission with power steering, tinted glass, deluxe seat belts, deluxe wheel covers & wide oval white wall tires.
She had always garaged & took well care of GT/CS. It remained with her for 49 years & she never had any intention on ever seeing it go.
The last 15 years, random people would follow her home when being driven or knock on her doorto ask if she would sell it.Making herfrightened leaving it anywhere other then her closedgarage, she added a alarm to the car to help secure it.That's why she came to the conclusion it was time for her to let it go due to fear of someone stealing it.

Has remained its entire life in Los Angeles only being registered by the Gonzales Husband & wife.

Was just Repainted the original color Candyapple Red 2 stagePaint Job. Looks beautiful! New rocker moldings & emblems.
She owner mention the miles (103,400) are original, never driven out of the city.
If your looking for a solid CA body Mustang, look no further. Original clean undercarriage - floors - trunk (factory quarters). She replaced the hood when she had it cause it was impossible for her to open the hood locks but comes along with the car (dented).
ORIGINAL LUCAS FOG LAMPS! Just added a original set of Chrome Style Steel wheels. We do have the original wheel covers / steel wheels.
Running & driving but most important - it runs smoothly. Shifts / Brakes / Steers just fine. Starts right up after sitting for awhile. She took care of it & driving it shows.
Overall, a factory rare 68' Mustang California Special only to been owned by the original owner. Stories like this are harder & harder to hear.
