1929 Ford Model A Description

This is a very nice older restoration on a 1929 Sport Coupe. The most recent owner bought the car in 2011 from a gentleman in Pennsylvania in the current condition. According to the title information he owned the car from 1983 to 2011.That person has since passed away and his son told me that he could not provide any details regarding the restoration. It is evident that the car had a frame off restoration as the underside is very clean and shows new bolts, etc. The wiring looks very good as well.The canvas top on this model does not go down but the back window does unsnap and reattach to the inside top bow to improve ventilation and also allow occupants to talk with passengers in the rumble seat. The original horn sounds great.The gentleman that owned it passed away 2 years ago. I have gone over the car and feel it is in excellent condition. The car is very tight and the steering and brakes work well. I put a new battery in the car and it started right up. I also put new radiator hoses on along with new antifreeze and changed the oil. All lights work and the tires are in excellent shape as is the chrome on the headlights and radiator shell. The car does not have a windshield wiper as they apparently left it off when the restoration was done. I feel the car is a solid 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect. The car is priced to sell. I encourage you to schedule an inspection and evaluate for yourself as my opinion may differ from yours. The car is being promoted locally and will also be shown at the AACA show in Richmond on June 24th if still available.
