1998 Steeda Cobra Serial Number 98-009, extremely rare. Steeda only built 15 serial numbered cars in 1998 only 7 were cobras and this is the only red one!

Original owner ( records show 2 owners because it was first registered in my company's name then transferred to me, I have all documents to support this). In 1999 it was involved in a minor traffic accident that required the rear panel to be repainted. ( rear ended at red light at low speed ).
Car makes 444 rwhp (515 hp at the motor), has new tires ( 200 miles on them ) 255 front 295 rear on 18" wheels. The car has never seen a track and has been enjoyed not abused its entire life. Car is very tight, strong and fast!
Some items of note, it has one of the prototype steeda shifter knobs and was the first car on display in their Pompano Beach, FL showroom along with their SN95 race car. paperwork pictures of original mods by Steeda, recent work done and last Dyno sheet are in the pictures.
Comes with the "Steeda" book with documentation.
This past weekend I cranked the car and it developed a loud tapping sound coming from the engine, I recordedit, andcan email you the video aseBaywon't let me post it or the link in the listing.Valve tap, piston slap, spun bearing, I don't know. I do not want to crank the car as to prevent further damage. Car must be towed. Car is located just north of Orlando in Montverde, FL.
