1971 Ford Bronco Description

I found this rig in Central Washington State. If you are not familiar with the climate there it is almost desert. Very dry hot summers and frozen dry winters, no salt on roads. Those conditions have preserved this Bronco as well as any you could find short of being stored in a heated garage. As it was it had been under a roof since about 2001. I am a car guy and know surface rust, pinhole rust behind paint, cancer rust, hidden bondoed rust, and most any other condition that would make or break a car for restoration and what it takes to fix them. I am into the 60-66 chevy pickups, and have done all types of patch panel and body work. That's my resume' and heres what you are going to get. No BS. There is cancer on the very nose of the hood for some weird reason and rust at the intersection of the toe board and foot well on the drivers side only. A result of water/snow from the drivers feetrunning under the floor mat. That was to be expected. That's it. Only surface rus, no pinholes in any other expected panels where tires sling mud front or back. I stuck a new master cylinder on it to get it moved but expect it to need bled properly. I also put a new water pump on it.Engine starts immediately and runs amazingly well. I bought this to resell so I have done a very minimum because I expect someone to tear it apart and do a meticulous restoration because its in such amazing condition to start with. I have NOT driven it down the road. It appears to function in High/low range and all gears. That's the only statement I can honestly make. Expect to have lots of usual odds and ends to correct on this vehicle. Windshield is cracked, other windows good and roll up/down. Lights and turn signals work. It has 2 gas tanks, holds good oil pressure, doesn't smoke, Edelbrock manifold, and headers/dual exaust in great condition, tires shot, expect to go thru the brakes, expect to do a lot of things but I will tell you one thing.
