1969 Ford Mustang Fastback Description

This mustang mach1 definitely has concourse potential with all the original born with components that are still present with it. Included are all the original tags and VIN stampings. The engine has been professionally rebuilt to better than factory specs having been balanced and blueprinted to exact tolerances while retaining its original factory parts including carburetor, intake manifold, water pump, fuel pump, distributor, cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, engine block, crankshaft, and balancer, as well as flywheel, and pulleys, and tin work. The engine currently has break-in time on it only and has great vital signs. the transmission is the original big input CJ 4 speed and the rear end is also the original 9" N case with Daytona pinion support only having a traction lock differential in place of the standard open case it originally was equipped with. Included is the original factory 4 speed shifter which needs to be restored, a hurst shifter is currently in the car for now which is in working order. The body of the mustang has been stripped to bare metal and had any sheet metal work it required done which includes some minor patches in the toe board section of the floor pan on both the left and right sides, a complete trunk floor pan assembly which was spot welded in place and correctly tied in to the original factory inner quarter panels, tail panel, and outer rear quarter panels. In an effort to retain the original sheet metal quarters and floors there have been some repairs made to the sheet metal however minor they may be it is a worthwhile effort. The doors have been re-skinned and look very nice to this point, the final body work and paint remains to be done but the brake system is restored, the fuel system is restored, the cooling system is restored as well as all of the front and rear suspension, there are several different ways to complete this car and included are most of the major interior parts as well as other miscellaneous pieces and parts.Think about what it takes to get any restoration to this point with this many original parts!
