Would you buy a car on eBay with four pictures and one paragraph of description? NO.
That is why at Classic Cars Online, our listings will go over and show every area of the vehicle that is up for auction. Description: Written by the Owner.
Body & Paint: This is an ALL original steel body that hasn't been cut up, modified, or altered. The front and rear fenders along with the running boards are also steel. It is solid and rust free with all body panels fitting very well. It was repainted before I purchased the vehicle. The paint has a deep shine and still looks pretty good with only having a few small imperfections. The worst being a crack/chip on the driver's door. (See close up photo #34) The paint color is called "Royal Maroon" which was a factory 1969 Ford color. Vinyl stripes. The vehicle also comes with a 2-piece bra protector for the front fenders.
Chrome & Trim: The back bumper has nice chrome with no scratches. I do not run a front bumper, but have it and it's in good condition. All of the stock "Deluxe" chrome and stainless steel trim pieces are in good condition.
Interior: The maroon and gray interior is in real nice shape. There is no signs of any wear on the seats. The door panels are in good condition. The gray carpet on the bottom sections of the door panels have been re-dyed since the photos were taken and they look good. The car has three sets of lap seat belts installed. The gauges along with the clock are working. The odometer/speedometer is not connected because of different gears in the rear end. (Too far off from being correct.) A high end Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo system was installed along with two 200 watt amps, two 10" 300w subwoofers, and a 6 disk CD changer. It was professionally installed using heavy gauge wires along with protection fuses. This audio system and the rest of the vehicle is powered by two(2) Optima yellow top batteries that are stored behind the seat. It has a wooden steering wheel with a tilt column.
Engine Compartment: The engine compartment is highly detailed. Under the hood sits a 383 "Stroker" V8 Chevy engine that was built by Performance Chevrolet Products in Phoenix, Arizona. It starts, idles and runs great. See the "Mechanical" section below for more details on this engine along with the other driveline components. The engine compartment is finish is a gloss black color.
Trunk Compartment: The trunk is clean and in good shape. It is fitted with side and rear panels. The trunk was a 3ft neon purple tube light installed. Behind the rear panel are the two 10" subwoofers. The vehicle doesn't have a spare tire.
Glass: All of the tinted glass is in good condition. There are no cracks, chips, or scratches. The side windows roll up and down without any problems or issues.
Wheels & Tires: The aluminum wheels are American Racing (AR39). All four are in excellent condition without any curb scratches or other problems. The tires are in great shape with pretty of tread. Front: P195/60R15 Rear: P235/75R15
Undercarriage: Rust free and very solid body, undercarriage and frame. The chassis is very clean. lt only got caught in the rain twice over the last 19 plus years.
Nine times out of ten, people selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, that is why there are a few pictures of the bottom in the photo gallery. Please view them all and see why this vehicle is better then most.
Mechanical:
Engine / Transmission / Rear End:
Again, this 383 "Stroker" engine was built, balanced and blueprinted. (350 cu. in. 4-Bolt main.) It was bored and stroked and is gear driven. High end, quality components were used. 76cc World Products S/R cylinder heads. Nothing was spared. 600cfm Holley carburetor with vacuum secondaries sits atop an aluminum intake manifold. MSD ignition, 6AL coil and a distributor that was converted to electronics. The engine puts out over 400HP. Polished aluminum valve covers and oil pan. Ceramic coated headers.
The transmission is a 350 automatic with a shift kit and a 2000 stall converter. It shifts out nice without any slipping or other problems.
The rear end is a 10 bolt Chevy which is not a locker. No problems with the rear end also.
Brakes:
Chevy drum brakes on all four corners. (Non power) The brakes are working great. There is no pulsating, fading, pulling or noise.
Suspension:
The front suspension was upgraded with a pre 1970 Camaro subframe. It is in good shape with no issues. The rear suspension has leaf springs.
Exhaust:
Stainless steel exhaust from the headers back. These 2.5" pipes feed into SuperTrapp mufflers that are tuneable. The vehicle sounds great with just the right amount of rumble.

Please read all of the terms before bidding. Our goal at Classic Cars Online, LLC. is to broker positive transactions between buyers and owners. We help with listing and presenting vehicles on eBay for the owners. We are not in possession and we have not inspected this vehicle. The owner provides us the information and photos for the eBay auction and has stated the representations are true to the best of his/her knowledge.
We also have a "Risk Free" 7 day inspection period AFTER the auction for the winner bidder.
(See below for details.) 1) The owner provides and is responsible for any and all representations within this auction and not Classic Cars Online, LLC. The owner states that the presentations are honest and accurate to the best of his/her knowledge and assumes all legal responsibilities for the vehicle and representations. 2) At the conclusion of the auction and upon reception of a Five percent (5%) deposit, Classic Cars Online, LLC. will place the winning bidder in touch with the owner to arrange for inspection or transportation. Classic Cars Online will accept the deposit on behalf of the owner. This deposit is due within 3 days of auction closing. The deposit can be paid with a Certified Bank Check. 3) An Inspection of the vehicle is Highly Recommended and must be done within 7 days of auction closing. The remaining balance, is due to the owner at inspection/acceptance. *If inspection is not completed within 7 days, or buyer waves his choice to inspect the vehicle, the deposit is nonrefundable and the deal is finalized. The inspection can be done by the buyer personally or a third party inspector that the buyer hires. 4) Full payment is due within 7 days of auction closing. You are not purchasing a new car that is claimed to be flawless. Instead, you are purchasing a vehicle that is old and expected to have normal wear and tear from age. The vehicle is sold "as is" where is without any warranty implied or expressed. All sales are final once inspected or paid in full. 5) If the vehicle was found to be materially misrepresented at the inspection, your deposit is refundable and you are not liable for the purchase but this must be determined within the allotted seven (7) day inspection period. Regardless of our commitment to describe vehicles in as much detail as possible there will be imperfections. Failing to mention for example an item such as a small paint imperfection, a minor non-safety related item such as a switch etc, does not constitute refusal of the vehicle by the buyer. We require you to put in writing via email or fax the material misrepresentations in order to receive a refund of your deposit. Taking a few photos of the misrepresented area for us to see, will help point out and confirm your concerns. "Changed my Mind" is not a valid excuse for your deposit to be refunded. 6) Bidding on this auction demonstrates your acceptance to indemnify and hold harmless Classic Cars Online, LLC. from any liability resulting from this transaction, including any reasonable attorney fees. 7) PLEASE DO NOT bid unless you have full intentions of purchasing at your bid price. Your bid is a legally binding contract as eBay clearly states. We reserve the right to end the auction early. We also reserve the right to verify any or all bids to ensure excellent auction integrity. Please do not ask the sellers reserve price as we will not disclose this information. 8) WE DO NOT accept bid retractions. If you bid and retract you will be added to our blocked bidder list and future bids will NOT be accepted. eBay allows for you to triple check your bid before finally entering the bid. Our integrity is impeccable as our feedback shows and we demand the same from our bidders. 9) Bidder/Buyer is responsible for all the shipping costs, insurance, title work, and must be 18 years of age or older. Remember, whether you are buying a car/truck from eBay, Hemmings or Collector Car Trader, you will inevitably want to go and inspect the vehicle. Our system is better than most as you can actually see several photos of the vehicle and enjoy a much more lengthy description, and then have a chance to inspect the vehicle after the auction. ss
