1989 Ford Mustang GT Description

1989 Ford Mustang GT, 5.0 V8, Convertible. 79,209 original miles. Automatic transmission. Clear and clean title. Just passed yearly Virginia State Inspection.
NO RESERVE!

I'm listing this for my father, who is retiring and has too many vehicles.
Wheels are from an early 90's mustang, so some people thing this is a 1992 or so - it's not. NEW Michelin Tires 16".New brakes. New center headlights.New Flowmaster exhaust system.Power windows all work - new switch control and all new window motors.Convertible top is not original - replaced by previous owner (glass back window - no plastic). Convertible top fully functional and motor works. Have the matching convertible cover although not shown in pictures. I've put the top up and down several times.Engine runs great - starts every time! It is STOCK as far as I know and fully operational. No leaks, etc.Automatic transmission w/ OD, shifts perfectly.Appears to have upgraded AC system ready for R134a from original (now defunct Freon system of yesteryear). I have never tried to charge this system. Looks to need charge only - no known AC issues.Novelty item: My father installed a wolf-whistle horn on the car with a button under driver's dash. Weird, but funny. Stock horn works and is connected as it should be.I just had interior professionally detailed. This car in in great condition for being 28 years old.Disclaimer: The glovebox latch is missing, but glovebox is held tight using a magnet. Latches are available online, but my father never purchased it.Also: as noted above in listing - the rear bumper was broken along the bottom edge by the transportation company as they backed it off their truck when car was purchased several years ago. PLEASE look at the pictures. Considering that it's damaged it really does not look that bad up close. Apparently the entire rear bumper is readily available online.
Thanks for looking. Please ask me any questions and I will respond quickly.
Buyer is responsible for picking up vehicle and/or making transportation arrangements. I will be happy to work with an auto transport company if buyer makes arrangements. $300 deposit due w/in 48 hours of auction close, can be paid through PayPal.
