In the Fall of 2008, Ford offered a BULLITT SPECIAL EDITION FASTBACK COUPE to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Steve McQueen's iconic Highland Green Mustang from the 1968 movie "Bullitt". Only 5,808 Coupes were produced by Ford and only 4,377 in the Highland Green. The 2008 BULLITT MUSTANG was designed to Look, Ride, and Sound like the 1968 version. In keeping with the 1968 classic film, the exterior was stripped of badging, scoops, and spoilers, only the faux gas cap on the trunk bears the Bullitt name. A unique grill and specially designed 18" custom designed wheels complete the sleek exterior of the BULLITT Mustang. The Interior has Bullitt-specific interior trim with Bullitt Badging and an aluminum shift knob to complete the Bullitt's transformation.

Where the Bullitt really shines is on the road. Engineers at Ford Racing provided a host of upgrades to make this much more than just an appearance package. Upgrades include a power upgrade package to increase the already ample horsepower of the Mustang GT. Suspension changes included stiffer shocks, springs, and a specialized strut tower brace to increase handling in the corners. Carbon-fiber brake pads, 3.73 rear gear ratio, and a true dual-exhaust system that increases performance and is tuned to sound just like Detective Frank Bullitt's own 1968 Mustang. The engineer who designed the Bullitt called it "a wolf in sheep's clothing." Each 2008 Bullitt was assigned its own VIN-specific serial number on a special ID plate affixed to the car's strut tower brace. This is a unique car that very rarely comes available on the market, it's sure to become a collectable and increase in value.

A deposit of $500 US Funds must be paid to end an auction. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, NO EXCEPTIONS - EVEN THROUGH PAYPAL. The remaining balance must be paid within 7 days by wire transfer, cashier's check, or bank financing. We hold all titles until funds have cleared and paperwork has been signed and returned. Florida Rebuildables does not finance. WE CHARGE NO DEALER FEES!

Tax, Title and License

Florida residents pay 6% sales tax, as well as a county surtax, title, and registration fees. If you live outside of our state, you are responsible for applicable tax, title and licensing fees in your state.
