GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Sporting a fantastic color combination with its original Wimbledon white paint, black top and a lovely original red pony interior, this Mustang starts right up and is an absolute pleasure to drive. ENGINE:

Under the hood this Mustang retains its original "C Code" 289 V8 2V engine with a two barrel carburetor. In 1965 the compression ratio on the two barrel "C Code" 289 was raised to 9.3:1 which increased power and torque to 200hp.

DRIVE TRAIN:

Equipped with Drum brakes and power steering which added more modern conveniences to the ride the car also retains its original cruise-o-matic 3 speed transmission.

CHASSIS:

The frame is clean and straight with zero rust or collision damage.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT:

Then engine compartment is clean with no rust and has zero evidence of accident damage.

EXTERIOR:

Painted in its original Wimbledon white this cars exterior is original and retains its original decals. As shown in pictures, very minor surface rust is shown in certain areas but there is zero rot in any of the panels. The body and paint is original and dents, scuffs and blemishes can be seen in the photos. The chrome trim is straight and shows minor blemishes in areas. The originality and the patina on the exterior combined with the comfortable and reliable ride of this Mustang make it truly unique.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT:

The trunk compartment is solid, clean and completely rust free.

INTERIOR:

The interior is adorned with its original pony interior and is in excellent condition. The adjustable driver and passenger seats as well as the rear seats are upholstered with red crinkle vinyl have no rips or tears in the vinyl and bolsters. The only blemish is a small tear in the interior door handle on the driver and passenger sides. The dash shows no cracks and has its original round gauge cluster and wood accents and under the dash your will find the cool comfort and convenience of an air conditioning unit which works perfectly. The carpets are clean and bright with a floor mounted shifter. The headliner is clean, tight and does not have any tears. You will love cruising down the road in this Mustang!
