2001 Ford Explorer Sport 4 wheel drive for parts or Repair Rebuilt TransmissionI personally have had this vehicle since 2002 and it's been a great truck I just got a new car. It tows very nicely over passes pulling trailers no problem. It does need an engine repair though at this time as I was getting ready to sell it and noticed a tiny tick sound and concerned it may be a rod so I had my mechanic pull the valve cover to try and locate the issue. Turns out the timing chain guide is plastic and had broke so it was clicking against the surrounding area. This is shown in the photo's so it can be repaired and put back on the road. The timing did not jump. Other issues a rodent chewed a couple wires while parked, however truck was running and will still turn over, Back door is off track, locks on back door don't work proper, driver window off track, seats are not torn, dash is not cracked. Transmission was rebuilt at a transmission shop within last 20k miles. Smog equipment replaced same time transmission was done.no back fees owed. Title clear and in hand.
