1968 Mustang Fastback S Code 390
You are viewing a beautiful S code Mustang owned since 87 as 4th owner with 92K miles. This is a very nice unmolested California car with full documentation and spent all of its life on the west coast. Marty Report, Ford Report and build sheet. S Code 390 with 4 bbl. The build comes with complete well organized book outlining and detailing the restoration, receipts and all paperwork about the car. Most all original parts come with the car that were replaced. The car was a very presentable survivor before the recent restoration body and paint along with the interior.

Please read on for more particulars of the car:
Body/Paint: The body is all original Ford steel. No rust. Floor and trunk pans are original in excellent condition. Super nice dry car to begin with. The original paint was removed down to bare metal. The body was in excellent condition. Minor body work done with multiple coats of primer and blocking with 3 coats of original Acapulco Blue, base/clear with 4 coats of clear. Wet sanded and buffed to a beautiful finish. All the body work and paint was done in 2014 with less than 500 miles driven on the car since finished.

Interior: Most of the interior was done with some remaining original paint, bright work and dash in nice overall condition. Dash paint, pad, column and steering wheel are unrestored and very presentable. The steering wheel has a few small cracks. Mirror is also original as are the seat belts. Seat covers, door panels and headliner were replaced. Originals come with the car. The interior is very nice. After market cassette player with rear speakers.

Running Gear: Original S code 390 rebuilt at the same time the paint was done in 2014 with less than 500 miles. The entire engine compartment was restored at the same time. An original restored carb by Holley is on the car with the original Holley carb comes with the car. Aluminum Edelbrock high rise intake with original also comes with the car. Petronix electronic ignition with original restored distributor. New radiator, flex fan for better cooling. Trans is the original C6 that was gone through in the past with under 5K miles. The rear end is original 9 inch to the car with hiway gears as stock from Ford. Runs and drives excellent.

Suspension: The suspension is nice and tight. New power steering cylinder. Ball joint and tie rods were gone through in the past. Rear springs were replaced as stock aftermarket. Shocks in good condition. Large front sway bar added as well as a rear aftermarket sway bar. Original front comes with the car. Underside is rust free, super clean, but unrestored to keep the originality, but very nice.

Bright work: Original rechromed front and rear bumpers that are beautiful. Restored bumper guards come with the car. All stainless steel was highly polished with some original bright work showing some signs of wear but very presentable, mirrors, door handles and grille emblem are original.

Glass: All original except the windshield in overall very nice condition, tinted.

Exhaust: Hooker super comp ceramic coated headers with 2 ½ pipes, X pipe with Turbo mufflers. Sounds really nice. All new.

Brakes: New disc brake conversion was done, non power with drum rears in new working order.

Wheels/Tires: Wheels are new American Racing Shelby with new Pirelli radials 205/60/15. Original unrestored wheels and trim come with the car in nice condition. Original spare wheels with jack and wrench. Trunk needs a floor mate. Just haven't purchased yet.
