Up for sale is a 1997 Ford Probe GTS. VIN # 1ZVLT22B4V5145726. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. This is a RARE authentic limited production car built by Ford Motor Co in 1997 as a Anniversary addition to the GT line up.1997 was the last production year for the Probe. In total their were only 2,720 GTS probes built by Ford in 1997. This car is# 726 and was assembled with optional GTS appearance package. The rear center panel between the tail lights is blank with no markings as only the GTS model was blank. This car is fully loaded with power sunroof, This car is mostly original except for hood and sunroof panel that were replaced due to rust. The front bumper coverhas alsobeen replaced due to crack.

First all the GOOD:The car has been a reliable daily "highway" driver and mechanically maintained for the past 15 years I have owned it. It has been mostly garage kept. The car's 4-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt approx. 3 years ago. The car has a new K&N air filter, cat-back exhaust system, new power window motors, engine motor mounts, drive axles, water pump, timming belt, alternator, engine belts, battery, radiator, A/C condense, fuel injectors, brake calipers, valve cover gaskets and distributor assembly. The 2.5 DOHC v6 engine is strong, dependable and does not burn oil. Oil and filter change is recent. Car comes with new radio and boombox in trunk.

The bad:The car has a small rust spot on roof. The car needs a power steering pump, driver side door lock key assembly is worn, check engine light is on due to cracked exhaust Y-pipe (I have another exhaust Y-pipe to give with car). The car also has scrape marks on driver side door and driver side head light panel from 2 separate minor accidents.The body has a few small dents as well. The tires and brakes are still good, they are about 50 % worn. The A/C is not working the system needs to be recharged. Driver side outer CV boot needs to be changed. Front seats need to be cleaned.
