1966 Ford Mustang -- Description
Now available in our Philly location is a 1966 Ford Mustang C Code. Introduced in 1964 the 1966 Mustang debuted with moderate trim changes including a new grille, side ornamentation, wheel covers and gas cap. It also removed the Falcon instrument cluster; the previously optional features, including the round gauges and padded sun visors, became standard equipment. In 1966 A C Code Mustang meant that the car came from the factory with the very desirable 289 V8. This one came in Emberglo Metallic with Emberglo Crinkle Vinyl and Parchment Crinkle Vinyl Interior. When this car left the factory, she was equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and three speed transmission. It is now upgraded to a Four Barrel carb and a four-speed trans. This car is a survivor car that has had some restoration work done to it. The interior has been updated with newer seat covers in the original color and design. An aftermarket console has been added and looks like it was always there. In the glove box, you will find a modern stereo with a CD player as well. The car has been repainted, in the original color. The original wheel covers are still on the car and add to that stock factory look that this car still has. This is a driver quality car that has had some performance modifications while maintaining its factory appearance. This Mustang has plenty to offer and is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner.
