The gentleman that bought our 52 Mercury M1 a couple of weeks ago traded this truck as part payment and dropped it off to us the other day. He had owned it for over 20 years and it had been parked for the whole time that he owned it. It is remarkably solid. Unfortunately the motor appears to be seized when I tried turning it by hand and there is no paperwork with it. This means that we have NO Title for this truck.
The body of this truck is very good, there is very minimal rust and few dents. There is a little rust in the fenders in the usual areas but very minimal. The steel bed floor is in great shape, I've not seen one this good on an unrestored truck of this era. There is no tailgate. The hood side emblems are partially missing but can easily be sourced. The seat needs reupholstering but the dash looks to be in nice condition. The tires do not hold air. Overall though a good solid basis for a project.
This 52 F1 is going to be a good deal for someone. These are a desirable truck once fixed up and not often available for a sensible price.

Should you wish to have your new (old) vehicle shipped, then let us know and we can put you in contact with our preferred shippers. Theseshippers are familiar with us, our inventory and our location. They are also very reasonably priced.

If you decide to use an alternative shipper, please make them aware if the vehicle is a 'non-runner' and, therefore, will require a winch for loading and unloading. We are not responsible if you book a shipper who is incapable of loading the vehicle.

Due to the nature of what we do, we are often on the road in search of new vehicles, so please be sure to make us aware of your shipping/collection arrangements ahead of time, so that we can arrange to be there to meet you or your shipper.

We are two brothersthat seek out original trucks and cars fromall acrossCanada specializing in vehicles from the 40s, 50s and 60s.

We started heading North to source these vehicles several years ago due to the severe lack of such vehicles in the US in recent times due to our huge car culture. Most American barn finds have long been found and tampered with by several owners yet North of the border there still seems to be an abundance of good solid original vehicles waiting to be brought back to life.

We make these great vehicles available to the US market by importing them into the US and providing all required paperwork to acquire a Clear US Title in your own name in your home State.

We also specialize insourcing Mercuryand Fargo trucks and have successfully imported and found new homes for dozens of fine original examples.

We are passionate about finding the best thatthere is and understand that our customers want to see automobiles that have not been tampered with; the more original, the better.
