NO RESERVE . 4x4 . KING RANCH . CREW CAB . ICE COLD AIR
2002 Ford F-150 King Ranch Description
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos as well as the written description and our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4x4 with the desirable Crew Cab. I would rate the exterior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in Arizona Beige Metallic over Costano Leather interior, which is unique to the King Ranch option. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth. As with any older truck, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific truck, the rockers show the normal rust through that should be expected at this age. Also, there is a light scrape mark at the left tail light. Other than that, just a few normal small dents and scratches. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. This F-150 King Ranch has a factory bedliner that matches the tan trim on the exterior. There is also a soft bed cover that is easily opened to accommodate larger items. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this F-150 King Ranch to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age and are not excessively worn or stained. The leather seats show very well for their age and are comfortable. The driver's seat is power operated and both front seats are heated. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The only issue I see is that I believe the blend door is stuck on the cold side. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR and will freeze you out of the cab. However, freezing air is the only thing it seems to be good at...so you'll want to get that looked at before fall. This truck comes with two keys, one remote, the original owner's books and the original window sticker. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this F-150 is in good running and driving condition. I have personally put the last 3,000 miles on this truck with absolutely zero issues. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The right exhaust manifold is starting to leak a little. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The ABS light stays on. Other than that, there have been no idiot lights on during my ownership. She hits the road nice and straight. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I'd drive this truck anywhere without a second thought. I bought it as a shop truck, hence me putting 3k miles on it, but came across another truck that will suit my needs much better. If it weren't for that reason, I would not be selling this truck. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
