2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac ADRENALINE XLT Description

Garaged most it's life this Sport Trac is in excellent condition despite its mileage and just passed inspection. With Mobil One since new and the transmission replaced a few years ago, this means it will probably be good for another 100,000 miles or more. A little flexible on the price because of the mileage but mileage doesn't mean much anymore nowadays. You can go to KBB.com and put any car in and check with the mileage + or - 100,000 miles and the price only changes a few hundred dollars either way.
Tires are almost new and cost over $700 alone. Bed and body are in mint condition and I do have a hard cover for it, worth over $1000 that will go with the truck if you use "Buy It Now" only. The cover does need new cables and a small piece repaired but it's nice otherwise. It is for sale separately as of now. Interior is really nice and the only worn parts are the drivers seat and the armrest. A/C is ice cold (40 degrees at the vent) and the heat is hot. Rear rotors and pads just done, front are fine for now. I have the parking brake shoes and spring kit but didn't get around to putting them in yet. It's an automatic so I don't really use the parking brake anyway but I will include them with the truck or maybe install them if I get the chance. Windshield has 2 small cracks but it didn't prevent it from passing inspection recently. Also the cruise control switch tabs on the left side of the steering wheel broke off but it's available on eBay for less than $30. Other than that, mechanically it needs nothing ... just buy it and drive it.
Meticulously maintained over it's life this Sport-Trac Adrenaline is really nice. Only reason I'm getting rid of it is that the bed is too short for what I need. My kids are really gonna miss it though.
Great first truck for a young new driver ... not too long.
