2011 Ford Mustang GT Description

This is Project BYOB from Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine. BYOB stands for Build Your Own BOSS. I bought it when I lived in sunny California and built it up as you've read in the magazine with the target of it being a high-end build using only the best components from the best suppliers and having been all installed professionally to not only exceed the performance of a BOSS 302 Mustang, but that of nearly anything you'd encounter on the street or road course. All of this was to be accomplished without compromising reliability and streetability. It has gone through several iterations, but below is how it currently sits. Since I can't include links in this listing, you can read the buildup by Googling "Mustang 360 project byob 2011 mustang." I'm a mature owner, and never abused this car. Heck, its been garaged it's whole life and has never seen any bad weather. I can count on one hand how many times I got caught in the rain. It has been kept either in my barn or in my garage.

Brakes are the BAER 6S 6-piston radial mount calipers all around with two-piece 14.6-inch discs. The brakes are insane and are over $6,000. Suspension mods include Steeda springs, Kenny Brown control arms, Panhard bar and instant center relocation brackets. Under the hood is a polished Procharger P1SC-1 with 8-rib belt drive and the larger race intercooler upgrade, making 593 horsepower at the wheels (about 675 horsepower at the crankshaft.) This is with only 7 pounds of boost, calibrated for the 91-octane gas. Tune was done by Erik Radzins of Procharger on GTR High Performance's chassis dyno. Engine has Boundary Billet oil pump gears, which will save the life of any good Coyote such as this one. The MT-82 transmission was just freshened up internally with new gears and bearings, and stainless hydraulic clutch line and a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch was added as well. Just to see what it would do, I went to Pomona on a magazine test day and it went 11.90s the way it sits on the regular street tires with no powershifting. At E-town on a nice cool night, I'm sure anyone who knows that they're doing can get further into the 11s, but you do at your own risk. I only use it for car shows and the occasional Sunday drive these days since I moved to New Jersey. The Exterior has Ford OEM BOSS 302 front and rear fascias, RTR Aluminum decklid spoiler, custom "BYOB 302" graphics made by American Muscle for MM/FF Magazine, Roush Racing side skirts, Raxiom LED headlight conversion, and miscellaneous graphics and trim. Wheels are 19-inch American Muscle wheels in gloss black and tires are Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires 255/40/19 in front and 285/35/19 in back with over 90% of meat on them. The interior has TMI RS Sport seats with a suede-like two-tone red and black cloth upholstery installed at TMI's own factory in California. Billet interior pieces abound and look fantastic. I also added Raxiom Navigation to the SYNC system when it was on sale during Black Friday (yes, us magazine editors actually pay for many of our own parts!) The original Race Red paint has had paint correction and detailing completed, so it is nearly flawless and the car has never been in an accident, Overall, the car is a 9.9 out of 10. There is a small chip on the windshield and three paint chips on the car itself. Otherwise excellent. No stories, Serious buyers only. Respect my time and I will respect yours. Sold as is, sale is final. Car is at my house in Montvale, New Jersey. Email me with any questions. Thanks for checking it out.
