1996 Ford Econoline E150 Conversion Van
1996 Ford E-Series Van Conversion van Description
I bought this van from my 77 year old neighbor in Virginia, He had a boat I wanted to buy and he would not sell me the boat with out buying the van also. I do not need this 1996, 1 owner rust free high top conversion van with 103,000 miles on it. It is equipped with the options noted along with dual A/C, color TV, VHS player, Antenna, blinds on the windows, interior lighting package, am/fm/cassette, 4 captains seats with arm rests, rear bench seat/full size bed. After bringing the van back to Pennsylvania I had new Hankook Optima 727 tires installed, a fresh service, and had it pre-checked for PA State Inspection. It will need nothing for the PA. Inspection sticker (I do not have it registered therefore I could not have the sticker applied), however they did mention to me that the front wheel bearings could use repacking with grease and the the front brakes are passable however they will need replaced in the near future. As you can see on the pictures the Gel-Coat is separating from the top and the runnings boards at spots, some chrome has peeled off the front bumper. The aluminum wheels also show some signs of oxidation. Everything on the vehicle works to my knowledge except the exterior rear door lever, the cable on the inside of the door needs to be replaced. (it does work from the inside). This vans drives wonderful and has no shakes, rattles, or shimmies, transmission and engine are in great operating condition and the vehicle has a book with the service records recorded.
