2000 Ford F-150 XL Description

When you are lucky enough to have livedinto your 80's and you are able towalk intothe garage and choosebetween a Toyota Avalon, a C6 Corvette and a Ford F-150 pickup truck...I'm pretty sure that one of the first things that should come to mind besides what should I drive today(!)...is that you have lived a pretty good life. That is exactly the sort oflife that this one owner, totally original, black clearcoat2000 Ford F-150 XL has enjoyed as well. Purchased new on July 27, 2000, thisF-150 XL 4X4 regular cab, 139" wheelbase, stylesidepickup truck came equipped with a 4.2L EFI V6 engine withan electronic 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission.Additional options include the convenience group, floor carpet, 6000# GVWR package, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with cassette player, medium graphite 40/60 split bench seat, oversize tires and polished aluminum wheels. Four days later, another $1,013.58 was invested in aCentury fiberglass cap along with a bed mat and a tailgate liner. Shortly after that, thetruck was Ziebarted and also had a JVC 12 cd player installed. It has been pampered ever since. And it shows! As of July 21, 2017, the truck has 46,905 miles on it. Given that it has been garage kept all of it's life, this truck is in absolutely remarkable condition. There is simply nothing wrong with anything. Inside or out.It looks as if it could be a one year old truck. Not so much as even a scratch or a door dent on the entire vehicle. Park it next to any2 year old black truck and I dare anyone to tell me which is the newer truck. The tires and brakes have been recently replacedby the family of the late original owner. They are basically brand new. I hesitated to get the truck detailed. We have always been leery aboutpeople that feel the need to do that to a used car. Always thought thatthey weretrying to hide something So, it is as clean and original as it has been kept all of it's life. I spentthe morning washing it. How do people keep these black trucks clean anyways! The bed has beenpurposely kept untouched. Plain to see indication that is wasused so little thatif I spent an hour cleaning it out, itwouldbe hard to tell if anything had ever been in there before given the bedliner and tailgate protector. There is cardboard protecting the bedliner! Simply amazing! There is a whole envelope full of paperwork including the original window sticker, bill of sale, owners manual plusa hand written log book of gas purchases, maintenanceand everything elsethat has ever beendone to the truck from the day it was bought. How cool is that! Thetruck runs and drives perfectly as well. No issues whatsoever. I highly doubt that this one owner truck could ever be duplicated in this condition, with this low of mileage. If someone were toget it detailed, it could go onto anynew car dealer's showroom and fit right in. No one would know thedifference.
