I bought the car with approximately 51K miles and drove from Indiana to Wisconsin to purchase from a Ford dealer because of the Adaptive cruise option (which is fairly rare) and awesome Red Candy Metallic Tinted color. This color was discontinued shortly into Taurus production because of the Tsunami across seas made one of the additives of the color unavailable.
The car was owned by an enthusiast (me) that took excellent care of the vehicle and it was always garaged under my care. Never raced, abused, tracked or modified. Most miles were highway as I had a 80 mile round trip to/from work. Always clean inside and out after driving; the interior still smells brand new. Normal chips, bug spots, and small scratch along side of front bumper. Small scratches at top of rear bumper at trunk opening from luggage. Light amount of curb rash on a few of the rims. All these items were present when I purchased the car in 10/14.
Interior is immaculate and still smells brand new. Only notable items are a small blemish in the passenger seat bottom and drivers side footwell (see pictures on my Flickr site).
All electronic items work as designed including touchscreen, Sony sound system (still sounds great), HDD music jukebox, navigation (latest map DVD's will be included with the car), rear power sunshade, moonroof, memory adjustable pedals, memory adjustable heated mirrors, memory driver's seat, auto dimming inside and driver's outside rear view mirrors, Securicode keyless keypad, keyless entry/push button start, heated/cooled front seats, heated rear seats, active-motion massaging seats, rain sensing wipers, HID projector auto high beam headlamps, Adaptive Cruise control (works great on the highway), collision warning system, blind spot monitoring system, rear park assist, and lastly engine block heater for the cold weather states.
All documentation, dealer work orders, original owners manual and literature with storage case, and Navigation update DVD's will be included with the vehicle.
This car stickered for $45,470 when new and this SHO is an excellent value for the condition, mileage and features. I am regretfully selling the car because I bought a new Fusion Energi to drive to/from work 2 miles each way. You won't be disappointed; must see to appreciate.
