2002 Ford Ranger 35K on Dash, Transmission Yanking/ Check Engine ON
2002 Ford Ranger XL Description
I'm selling this at a veeery low price because when I put it into drive the transmission pulls really hard, almost like a stomp trying to pull the car forward or back. It Doesn't always happen. That said, I checked the transmission fluid level and it IS low. I'm no mechanic and have 2 other cars, that's why I'm selling. It still RUNS & DRIVES. I use it locally and occasionally go on the highway, so still a trustworthy little pickup. I just used it to move into a new place without any issues. I usually put in into 2nd and it doesn't shift that funny. The check engine light and the weird transmission shifts started after I let my friends use it for a week - I think they overloaded it, or I'm rather sure they did since another buddy told me he saw it packed high.This pickup has a long bed, so it's easy to carry materials. It's a V6 so has a nice pull to it. The body is rough, very rough. I restored the front a bit. Please check all the photos and ask any questions BEFORE you bid. I'm starting at a low reserve. Pickup or buyer-arranged delivery ONLY. I don't have time to look for shipping options etc. It NEEDS INSPECTION. I don't have the time or the money to fix it up, so consider that when bidding.I also had a newer (blue) bed in storage, you can have it for an extra $150 if it's still there (I paid $300);
You're more than welcome to come check it out in person or bring a mechanic or whatever; Car is located in 19137 - Philadelphia.
NO RESERVE AUCTION; WINNER TAKES IT;
