1966 Ford Mustang Couple Description

I bought this car a couple of yearsago from a guy who had this car, and a Mustang Boss 302 (which was not for sale), and worked on them as his hobby. He basically only ever drove this car around his own property. Since I have owned it, my wife has been the primary driver - I bought it for her. She drives it on sunny days only here in San Diego, maybe 50 miles per month.
The engine and transmission have been rebuilt, most of hoses, fuel lines, seals and gaskets, have beenreplaced, etc. I won’t say any classic car does not leak at all, but this one is darn close. You can see from the pictures of the undercarriage that the hoses and lines are all new, a lot of the bushings have been replaced, gas tank is new, etc. The exhaust is new all the way to the back of the car, with a cross-pipe that makes it sound great, but not too loud. I replaced the coil springs in front and the leaf springs in back, to get the right stance.
I also replaced the original front drum brakes with disc brakes, and the brake master cylinder. American Racing wheels, and the tires, are new.
The interior is all new seats, carpet, headliner, center console, and I installed headrests (using a custom kit). I also added retractable shoulder-strap seatbelt both front and rear. New speakers in the front kick-panels, and under the rear window. I also installed a new voltage regulator, and probably did a few other things I will think of later. This car starts right up, even after its been sitting for weeks, and it shifts and drives easily. Absolutely everything works on this car. All the electrical, all the lights, everything -except the catch mechanism for the emergency brake handle does not grab properly, so it is hard to set the emergency brake.
Included are pictures of an Edelbrock intake manifold,Edelbrockcarburetor (with all parts necessary to install it),Edelbrockair cleaner, and, high power, chrome alternator. All parts come with the car. I want toemphasize that the car runs perfectly the way that it is now, however. Also pictured are the original, blue Ford air cleaner and valve covers.DISCLAIMERS: I used all the original seatbelt connection points where I could, because the car came with lap belts, but I had to make new connection points for the shoulder straps, so they are not safety certified in any way. Buy the car knowing theseatbelt are not original. Also, the mileage showing on the odometer is just under 40,000, but I have no ideawhether that isaccurate, so buy the car with the actual miles unknown. This car is very easy to drive this car, unlike a lot of classics that can befinicky, you can get in, start it up, and drive away. Attracts alot of attention.Let me know if you have questions, or want more pictures. This is a great car, and we have thoroughly enjoyed owning it.
